Corporate History
The history of Panmatex Group began in year 1974, where the first company was set up under the name of Panmatex Trading Sdn Bhd (Registration no.198101008108 (74225-A)). The group's business started with manufacturing and distribution of cotton knitted glove in Johor Bahru.
In 1977, the first factory was built in Larkin Industrial Estate, Johor Bahru; and commenced its operations for producing of PSP and PVC tray products. With the rapid growth in the electronic industries, Panmatex Group diversifies its business into manufacturing of EPS. The EPS business of the Group has since progressed remarkably, further expansion to cope with the increasing demands of EPS products, had led the Group to set up five more EPS factories in Pasir Gudang, Batu Pahat, Melaka, Seremban, and Chengdu, China between 1988 to 2006.
In 1997, Panmatex Group has joint-ventured with Nisshin Co. Ltd. ; a company founded in 1946, Japan; with businesses specialized in the sectors of industrial chemicals, plastic raw materials, food raw materials, machineries, water treatments, and etc. Nisshin-Panmatex (M) Sdn Bhd (Registration no. 199701016011 (431508-W)) was established in Penang, with businesses expanded to the South East Asia region.
Besides, Panmatex Group has also established a strong market presence in the apparel and footwear, and foodcourt sectors with operations in Singapore and Vietnam.
The group's EPS manufacturing expertise and experiences span over the years have enabled us to be one of the largest EPS manufacturers in Malaysia. Being the leader in the industry, our culture, concept, and perception are driven by the ever-changing needs of our customers in this dynamic environment.
Our reputable customers are established MNCs namely Sony, Konica Minolta, Samsung, Kenwood, Brothers, Sharp, Epson, Panasonic, and Daikin.
