The core business of our Group is in manufacturing of EPS (Expandable Polystyrene Foam), EPP, EPO, and EPE, with plants located in Johor, Melaka, Seremban, and Chengdu, China.
As a manufacturer specialized in EPS and its compatible products, we are the main suppliers of component foam parts, protective cushioning products, packaging products, block foams/sheets, and foam boxes for the electronic, construction, furniture, fishery, agriculture, F&B catering, pharmaceutical, and marine industries.
Being one of the largest EPS manufacturers in Malaysia, we maintain our creditability by producing quality and excellent services to our valued customers.
The history of Panmatex Group began in year 1974, where the first company was set up under the name of Panmatex Trading Sdn Bhd. The group's business started with manufacturing and distribution of cotton knitted glove in Johor Bahru.
In 1977, the first factory was built in Larkin Industrial Estate, Johor Bahru; and commenced its operations for producing of PSP and PVC tray products. With the rapid growth in the electronic industries, Panmatex Group diversifies its business into manufacturing of EPS. The EPS business of the Group has since progressed remarkably, further expansion to cope with the increasing demands of EPS products, had led the Group to set up five more EPS factories in Pasir Gudang, Batu Pahat, Melaka, Seremban, and Chengdu, China between 1988 to 2006.
In 1997, Panmatex Group has joint-ventured with Nisshin Co. Ltd. ; a company founded in 1946, Japan; with businesses specialized in the sectors of industrial chemicals, plastic raw materials, food raw materials, machineries, water treatments, and etc. Nisshin-Panmatex (M) Sdn Bhd (Registration no. 199701016011 (431508-W)) was established in Penang, with businesses expanded to the South East Asia region.
Besides, Panmatex Group has also established a strong market presence in the apparel and footwear, and foodcourt sectors with operations in Singapore and Vietnam.
The group's EPS manufacturing expertise and experiences span over the years have enabled us to be one of the largest EPS manufacturers in Malaysia. REACH which stands for Reistration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. It is a European Union regulation dated on 18 December 2006, which addresses on the production and use of chemical substances and its potential impact on both human and environment. Thus, it is also considered as the control measures used by industry to minimise any risk issues happened in the social and economic aspect.
ROHS which stands for Resriction of Hazardous Substances Directive. It is the European Directive 2002/95/EC that published in the Official Journal of the European Union in February of 2003. The ROHS complaince is meant to reduce the amount of hazardous chemicals used during manufacturing stage.
